What is a hair wefts?
A hair weft is a collection of hair strands woven on to a band.
Hair wefts can be made into a clip-in set, they can be glued on , worn with micro-rings or sewn in, also known as weaving. With these methods you can wear the hair up to 3 months before going back for a reattachment or removal, except for clip-ins that can be put on anytime.
All hair wefts from yves hair extensions are 100% Virgin Remy hair and Remy hair that can be straightened, curled and bleached.
Methods of weft hair extensions application
Weaving or Sew in
In the weaving process, the hair is sewn onto your own hair with a thread and a needle. For questions and for tips for your hair type, you can ask your own hairdresser for advice.
Secure the hair weft extensions with glue
You can also apply bonding glue to the hair weft band wait about 30 seconds after which the glue get tacky theresfter glue the hair onto your hair very close to the roots. . Liquid glue such as bonding glue, weft glue or silicone glue can be attached to the edge of the hair and be part of your own hair. The period the glue holds depends on the glue type and how often you was the hair, let say +/- a month.
Secure the hair wefts with micro rings
Small sections of the hair from the weft and your hair, are pulled gently through micro rings that are fastened down securing that the weft in place. This is repeated until reaching the top of the head.
Secure hair weft extensions with clips
Wig Clips are sewn on to the weft. After the clips are sewn on you can easily clip in the extensions onto your hair.
